BABR Membership

Founded in 1968, the Bartow Area Board serves as a central source of information for our members and our main focus are real estate education, the promotion of professionalism in our industry and representing our REALTOR® members with legislative initiatives to create positive change for the real estate community. Throughout its history, the Bartow Area Board has exerted its influence in civic affairs in its capacity of representing a substantial segment of the business community across Bartow County. The Board has contributed to various charities over the years by hosting fundraisers; such as, Duck Derby Day, Charity Golf Tournament, Thanksgiving Baskets, Annual Blood Drive, Ringing the Bell for the Salvation Army, and a toy drive for Bartow's Christmas.

Becoming a REALTOR®

A real estate agent is a REALTOR when he or she becomes a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS, The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When you join a local REALTOR association, you automatically become a member of that board's state association and the National Association of REALTORS.
